A Knight Twice Over!

A Knight Twice Over!

Have we yet painted a full picture of just how eclectic and diverse Bruce Tulio’s interests are—and how widely respected he is in his various communities and social circles? Perhaps not. We have mentioned that he is a businessman, and we have mentioned that he devoted himself, with vigor and enthusiasm, to a variety of hobbies and passions. We have talked specifically about his love of diving, which led him to serve, for a period, as an associate spokesperson for a renowned scuba diving instruction facility. We have also mentioned his love of sailing and his previous competitions in various, prestigious races.

But here’s something that might rather surprise you: Bruce Tulio has been knighted. Yes, he is technically Sir Bruce Tulio. And what’s even more impressive is that this man has actually been knighted twice, in two different countries!

It’s difficult for us, as Americans, to even grasp the significance of this, but, in essence, it indicates that he is a deeply respected figure whose work on behalf of different causes and organizations has been recognized as highly influential, and even noble.

But what are the two knighted titles held by Bruce Tulio? They are as follows:

  • He is an Honorary Knight of Gruyere Castle, in Switzerland. This remarkable structure was constructed in 1282, and was originally used as a fortress!
  • Bruce Tulio also received the full Warranted Legal Title of Knighthood of Aquataine Province, France. His full title, Sir Bruce Anthony Tulio, was bestowed by The Grand Duke Thomas II.

Clearly, then, this is a man who carries a fair amount of prestige—though he is not one to flaunt it, and you would not necessarily deduce any of these titles simply by speaking with him. They just go to show that Bruce Tulio is a reputable man whose status as a global citizen is unimpeachable, and whose positive actions do not go unnoticed or unrewarded!
